As I have been reading through the Psalms, I have noticed that it is usually David either asking for God’s help or praising God for what He has already done. I finished Psalm 61 today so I still have a ways to go to finish, but as I was reading today I was reminded of a song by my friend Patrick Bass and his wife Brittany. Patrick wrote a song called “The Storm” that makes me think of a modern day Psalm. The lyrics are listed at the bottom of this page.

I had to get special permission to share this today, but Patrick was excited to let it be heard! This song is part of a full length worship album of originals that will be released 8/3/12 on iTunes.
